General Policies

• Standard courses are nine weeks long and held live on Zoom.

• All sessions are 90 minutes and consist of a live lecture + discussion.

• Live weekly lectures will be recorded and accessible through the course homepage for those who cannot attend live.

• The class syllabus lists the week’s lecture and discussion topic and often includes additional details. Many syllabi include suggested readings for the week, as well as suggestions for further study. Please note that while all readings are optional, they are highly recommended.

• Our standard courses cost the same amount — $333. We are proud to offer advanced, graduate-level higher education at a fee that will not paralyze our students with morbid debt. Anyone experiencing financial hardship may contact us here.

• Discussion sessions are moderated according to the number of students present. In the case of larger classes, students might not be able to interact with the professor directly, and their questions will be answered through a moderator to save time and reach more student questions. We will do our best in this area.

• Kosmos Institute is an open space for free inquiry. We reserve the right to moderate our classrooms according to this stated policy.

• Refunds are issued up to two weeks before the start date of the class, after that refunds are not offered.
